Week 4 Recap

Welcome to our class blog! From now on, I'll do all my updates, etc. here. A couple of people had trouble opening the attachments, so this should alleviate that issue. I'll send a reminder next week, but bookmark the address so you can just check the blog for updates in the future.

Last week, we had a very interesting discussion about the major religions of the world, and what the Bible says about each one.

A few things we noted:

--most other religions are based around fear and/or works

--only Jesus gives us power and freedom from fear

--only our Father God offers a free gift that we accept upon faith alone, and not by earning it thru works

--only Jesus claimed to forgive sins AND has power over death (comparing to other central figures of the other religions we studied)

As a reminder, you may print out the Mystery Countries, or just have students add to the list they started last week on notebook paper (please note that our MC number 3 and 4 is Location #4 and 6).

Finally, you'll also notice the world religion pages we studied are available thru this link (coming Tuesday). Anyone who missed school last Friday can read thru these at home.

There is no homework due Friday.
